A Day in the Life of a Pharmacy Care Technician:

As a Pharmacy Care Technician, you play an integral role in helping to manage the patients' treatment plans by assisting the in-office Patient Care Coordinators. Your primary duties are administrative in nature with a focus on patient care, where you will assist with inbound/outbound calls to and from patients, communicate treatment plans to patients, and educate patients on products and service. You also invoice products and services for patients, submit prescriptions to pharmacies, and maintain patient records in our EMR and CRM system.

You maintain professionalism with all patients, vendors, and colleagues as well as comply with all relevant HIPAA laws. Always friendly and professional, you are a great addition to our team, and enjoy using your excellent patient focus and attention to detail to do important work that you find satisfying!

Qualifications for a Pharmacy Care Technician:

• Bachelor's degree required in the field of science (e.g. health sciences, healthcare administration, nutrition/exercise science, etc.). Pharmacy experience may substitute for degree.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a health care setting preferred
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office and experience with EMRs.
• Excellent patient focus and attention to detail

Some interest in or knowledge of the anti-aging field would be a plus. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Do you have experience working with electronic medical records? Work Schedule for a Pharmacy Care Technician:

This full-time pharmacy care technician position works 40 hours per work. The hours are:

• Monday to Wednesday from 10:30 AM - 7 PM
• Thursday to Friday from 8:30 AM - 5 PM
• Saturdays 9 AM - 5 pm
• Sundays 10 AM -7 pm
