Position: Pharmacy Operations Specialist

Location: West Sacramento CA 95605

Duration: 6 Month contract with possible extension

Pay Rate: $24/hr - $27/hr (depending on experience)

Schedule:

• Training schedule would be the following: Monday – Friday 1pm to 9:30pm (8 weeks)

• Work Schedule is the following: Sunday (8am to 4:30pm) Monday – Thursday (1pm to 9:30pm)

Job Description:

• Expert on all operations subject matter. Responsible for training, tracking, and working with Supervisor to maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all operational functions. 20%

• Creator of daily schedules that comply with state pharmacy law and comply with production goals. Evaluates production, gives work direction, and helps resolve operational problems. 20%

• Organizes and sustains the site’s comprehensive training program, including mandatory training and refresher training. 20%

• Navigates through large amounts of data during research process for pharmacy incident reports to determine root cause. 15%

• Leads the internal shipping process to meet contractual pickup times. The Lead is a primary individual that validates accuracy when completing the shipping process. 15%

• Operational tracker controller. Maintains and evaluates record keeping trackers that help support management and the business. 10%

Job Requirement:

• High School Degree or equivalent experience

• AA or equivalent work experience

• 2-year operation experience

• Previous experience in a Lead position preferred

• Intermediate computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Microsoft Teams, etc.)

Specialized Knowledge/Skills –

• Understanding of Central Fill production

• Capability to build a complex production schedule

• Knowledge of pharmacy law & regulation

• Pharmacy technician experience preferred but not required

• Experienced in analyzing data and conditions in real time and adjusting as needed

• Demonstrates excellent communication skills. Both verbal and written communication to support the business.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
