Job description
Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Pharmacy or the Registered Pharmacist, and in accordance to the standard procedures, dispenses additives for IV and irrigating solutions, types labels, prepares and files charge slips and performs other related duties.
Minimum Requirements: High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required.
Successful completion of one (1) year on-the-job training. Must be knowledgeable and familiar with new concepts, (i.e., chemotherapy, new drugs, generic as well as trade names, drug conversions and pharmacy math).
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of Medical Center management, staff, physicians and the general public.
Preferred Qualifications: One (1) year of experience preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
