- Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in the laboratory or client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, respiratory panels, Covid etc. (Blood, Urine, nasopharyngeal, Oral pharyngeal)
- Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Process billing information and collect payments when required
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed Education and Experience
Required:
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)
0-2 years experience in a Patient Care Setting
Preferred Job Qualifications:
National Phlebotomy or equivalent certification

Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
Medicine - Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to be able to collect the specimins properly. This includes symptoms, specimen collection alternatives, and drug properties and interactions

This role will be a part of the Accessioning team. You will be reporting to a supervisor for the department. Communication will be done through the company's messaging system (TEAMS).
This role connects the laboratory and patient care. It acts like the middle man ensuring that both ends are properly taken care of. And we are able to deliver the best service possible to patients.
As we are delaing with bodily fluids and samples. We will be adhereing to OSHA requirement for safety. You will be required to take a training before starting work. The training will be provided by the company.
Health care scrubs are required for the position as work attire. 2 pairs will be provided by the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
