Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for:

• Complying with ATC policies/procedures.
• Complying with client facility policies/procedures.
• Developing, implementing and re-evaluating the patient's plan of care.
• Documenting accurate and complete services provided.
• Evaluating and establishing goals based on patient's current level of functioning and potential for improvement.
• Maintaining confidentiality relative to patient care and facility practices in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
• Communicating information effectively to appropriate personnel.
• Treating patients to relieve pain and/or develop or restore function to maintain maximum performance.
• Providing patient care in a non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner that considers cultural diversity and age appropriateness so that autonomy, rights, and dignity are preserved.
• Maintaining competency by participating in continuing education programs and meets state specific requirements.
• Complying with accepted ethical and professional standards of conduct.

Qualifications

• Active NY State Physical Therapist (PT) Licensure
• One (1) year of Physical Therapy experience
• Resume submissions and in-person interviews are required.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment, work with different age groups.
• A desire to work with children.
• Strong problem-solving, compassion, and motivational skills with great physical stamina.
• A Great Team Player
