Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation
• Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment and communicate patients' progress
• Record and document patient care services using WebPT
• Collaborate with other team personnel to achieve well-rounded care; including working with PTA's
• Reduce patients' need for medication and surgeries by improving range of motion, strength, flexibility, coordination and balance
• Devise detailed exercise techniques, stretches, self care programs for patients to complete between sessions
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Comply with federal and state physical therapy regulations

Qualifications:

• Current State of Michigan Physical Therapy license
• Previous experience in physical therapy outpatient clinics
• Able to handle physical workload
• Able to build rapport with patients, proven work ethic and dedication to patient care throughout the recovery process
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• A thorough knowledge of current treatment practices
• Able to communicate and adapt to different patients and personalities
• Driven and highly motivate
• Open to learning Mackenzie, red cord and dry needling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $81,000.00 per year
