For more information, visit friendship.us.Friendship is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our Friendship Health and Rehab - North team, located on Hershberger Road, who want to make a difference in the lives of others. The Physical Therapist is responsible for creating therapy plans that improve and encourage resident recovery and wellness and will create individual treatment plans to meet the needs of each resident. This position is a PRN status, working as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Physical Therapy license required
- Experience in a long-term care/rehabilitation facility preferred
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree required
- Complete screenings and patient evaluations according to departmental policies and procedures
- Establish, implement and execute goal-oriented treatment plans and programs in coordination with other departments
- Evaluate treatment plan progressions to identify any deficiencies and make adjustments as necessary
- Participate in program development, quality assurance and improvement efforts
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve quality of care for residents and/or improve departmental operations.
