Job Summary and Qualifications

Delivers medically prescribed Physical Therapy in support of medical care as directed by the primary physician. Works with patients of all ages, race, creed, gender, and disability without bias or prejudice. Utilizes the evaluation of the patient’s rehabilitative needs to plan the care, implement and document effective, appropriate and safe Physical Therapy treatments. Acts as a member of the interdisciplinary team in helping the patients and their families achieve the highest level of functioning. Supervises and instructs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs/Aides/Restorative Techs in regards to Physical Therapy Services. Participates in planning and implementing new services, staff development programs, and marketing efforts. Performs all job duties and tasks in accordance with national and state professional governing guidelines and state practice act, rules, and code of ethics.

What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A. Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution for grandfathered PTs, Doctorate Degree required unless Grandfathered.

B. Minimum of one year of experience preferred.

C. Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.

D. Current CPR certification.
