We are expanding our physical therapy and rehabilitation team and searching for an experienced, enthusiastic physical therapist to join our skilled health care professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one treatment in an outpatient setting
• Develop and implement physical therapy programs that focus on rehabilitation of orthopedic, neurological and sports conditions
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
• Reduce the need for medications and achieve maximum physical recovery with a combination of modalities and hands on treatment
• Evaluate effects of therapy treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit
• Motivate patients during treatment in order to help them function optimally
• Provide educational information about physical therapy, injury prevention, ergonomics and ways to promote health
• Record and document patient care services

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in physical therapy, required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong leadership qualities
• Proficiency with computer platforms and applications
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must be licensed in NY state
• New graduates are welcome

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
