Join our team of therapists! Southwest Physical Therapy, Brookings Harbor Physical Therapy is a Rehabilitation Agency located on the Southern Oregon Coast. John Breuer started the company in 1979 and it has grown from one clinic in Coos Bay to a total of 5 clinics here on the coast. We have seen multiple changes in the industry throughout the years but have always stayed true to providing the best therapy possible in a safe,healthy, and forward looking environment.

This position is in an out patient setting where we treat a variety of diagnosis and our patients range from student athletes to Geriatric patients.

We also have positions open in Bandon, Coquille and Coos Bay

Therapist Skills:

• This position is appropriate for a new Grad or more experienced therapist
• Passion for motivating and helping patients attain the highest level of recovery possible
• Excellent work ethic
• Good documentations skills
• Desire to work as part of a healthcare team

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for our patients
• Evaluate and report patient's progress
• Work with administrative staff to be sure our billing and records are complete and accurate
• Communicate with physicians regarding patient care
• Comply with Federal and State therapy regulations
• Complete necessary Continuing Education requirements

About the area: -Here in the Pacific Northwest in the rural communities along the southern Oregon coast you will find an abundance of available outdoor activities and entertainment such as:

-Hike trails and see the beautiful views of the Oregon coast, waterfalls, and national forest lands.

-Bike and drive on scenic highway 101 along the Oregon coast

-Sandboard and ride ATV’s on the Oregon Dunes National Recreational Area

-Fish, swim, kayak, surfing, kite and windsurfing, canoe, raft, and paddle board on a variety of lakes, rivers, and ocean waters in the area. Go crabbing along the docks in Charleston or Bandon.

-Watch a classic film at the historic Egyptian Theater

-Listen to local bands at the local craft brewery

-Take a weekend trip to Crater Lake or hike, snowboard, ski the various mountains around the state

-Golf at the world renowned Bandon Dunes Golf Resort or one of the other courses in the area

-Sign up at Southwestern Oregon Community Colleges to take advantage of their recreation center where they offer a weight room, basketball and racquetball court, game room, and a rock wall.
