What matters to us:
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Licensed by the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Possession of valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Currently possess or able to complete first aid and CPR certification (training provided)
- Evaluate and provide treatments for clients within the guidelines of the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable regulations
- Assist in recommending and obtaining wheelchairs, braces, and specific positioning and training equipment
- Ensure billing and documentation for Physical Therapy services is conducted according to the Kentucky State Board of Physical Therapy Practice Act and all applicable guidelines
- Maintain knowledge of current trends in Physical Therapy
- Communicate well with others including staff and our individuals
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds while providing therapy services
