Matheson has immediate job openings for Delivery Truck Drivers who have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and bringing a smile to the faces of customers. The successful candidates will be highly adaptable and will have a proven track record of providing safe and timely transportation services. It is the primary responsibility of the Driver to provide friendly, professional and reliable service to our clients. We are seeking professional, punctual, polite, and responsible individuals to fill the position of Delivery Truck Driver. Essential Duties:

• Operates Vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Responsible for ensuring inside and outside of vehicle are properly cleaned and fueled on an ongoing basis.
• Keeps interior of vehicle neat and orderly.
• Follows specific regularly scheduled routes, charter routes or responds to requests from dispatch or management
• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Conducting a safe work zone during each job site
• Adhering to assigned delivery schedule and following all job directives precisely
• Documenting every step of each delivery by taking and uploading photos with our camera phone system
• Assists with loading, unloading, and carrying luggage, packages and other items as needed.
• Monitor’s traffic and weather conditions and notifies dispatch of potential problems.
• Flexibility with schedule, able to work long hours as needed
• Able to multi-task, think quickly and respond effectively in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
• Follow appropriate safety procedures while driving to customer locations
• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Strong communication and technical skills
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
• Flexibility with hours, available to work on short notice and weekends as needed
• Requires clean cut appearance, formal dress code.
• Must be able to use required phone apps.
• Must have high level customer service skills.
• Must be a team player
• Must be humble, soft spoken and polite
• Confident in abilities and presence
• Excellent Customer Service skills required
• Attention to detail required
• Ability to drive a full range of vehicles required
• Adequate proficiency in English is required.
• Must be able to read, comprehend and complete trip sheets, vehicle deadline forms and related paperwork.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions is required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service skills, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required
• Must pass a pre-employment screening, including DOT drug test

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour
