Pica Rica BBQ is a new independent restaurant in St. George, UT, brought to you by the country’s hottest concepteur, Michael McHenry, Utah’s 2022 Restaurateur of the Year, Jason Neeley, and the entire TMG Family.

We seek an EXPERIENCED Pit Room Lead to work alongside our other Pit Room Cooks and our award-winning Pit Master, Jason Neeley, to craft our mouth-watering meats.

**This Pit Room Lead would be directly training under the Pit Master to take over the position from Jason.**

This pit room lead would assist in smoking BBQ items at Pica Rica. This would include breaking down, prepping, seasoning, and smoking the BBQ items for the restaurant, including brisket, ribs, turkey, pork shoulder, sausage, chicken wings, beef ribs, pork belly, and daily specials.

Additionally, the pit room lead will work daily with the Pit Master and General Manager (GM) to produce all smoked items used in the restaurant. The pit room lead would also assist the pit room cooks in performing the required sanitation and kitchen cleaning to the standards of Pica Rica. The pit room lead must also work with the pit room cooks to ensure excellent food products and consistency of that product.

This job will require some fire management and cooking/BBQ knowledge.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
