As the Planning Manager, you will ensure that Line Maintenance LAX is well placed to execute each maintenance event in accordance with network requirements, managing the team that is responsible for maintenance events assessment, planning and resourcing. This role will be the operational focal point for the interface with the MOC as well as ensuring systems are in place to support aircraft maintenance status reporting and providing all customer and stakeholder communications. The role is responsible for effective event project management and post check reviews ensuring a continuous improvement feedback loop into policy, procedures and project plan templates.
You’ll have –
· Maintenance and planning experience at a senior level
· Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in aircraft maintenance
· Extensive airline operational experience or a closely related industry
· Familiarity with Civil Aviation regulations and other regulations governing industrial workforce management (WH&S, Industrial Relations, Environment, EEO etc.)
· Proven ability to engage with people to drive business and operational results
· Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders across various levels and business units
· Innovative team player, open to challenge and debate; able to empower, manage and hold delegates accountable
