SUMMARY

Deal cards at the gaming table with precise counts and payouts. Create a welcoming and entertaining atmosphere for our guests while dealing cards with skill.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes the following:

• Directs and supervises the work of the dealers.
• Provides input towards staffing, performance appraisals, corrective actions and terminations.
• Provides prompt, courteous, and accurate dealing.
• Supervises the opening and closing procedures of the poker room.
• Maintains inspection of decks, ensuring the security of table games at all times.
• Oversees all action in poker room; reports any irregular play to Poker Management.
• Assists guest in playing and ensures adherence to established rules, policies, and procedures.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures and reports any safety hazards to the Table Games Manager.
• Performs other job-related duties as required.

Lead/and or guide the work of other employees

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of experience dealing cards in a casino poker environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to maintain a close working relationship with co-workers and management.
• Ability to lead and guide other employees.
• Ability to provide and maintain a high standard of guest service at all times.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must successfully complete training in CNE Gaming Academy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The duties of this position are primarily performed in a climate-controlled office environment with constant exposure to smoke and loud noise. The position requires minimal physical exertion during the performance of majority of the duties. Most work is performed will standing or sitting with occasional need to walk, recline, lift, carry, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle. You must be able to lift and carry 10lbs.
