• Obtains required chips and verifies initial day’s inventory at the beginning of each shift.
• Checks call-ins for the day and replace personnel as needed.
• Assigns dealers and execute rotation throughout their shift.
• Maintains contact with Brush as to patrons on waiting list and the need to open additional games.
• Is responsible for televisions located throughout the Poker Room.
• Reports suspicious players and/or employees to Surveillance and alerts Poker Room Manager
• Informs Poker Room Manager of any employee or customer issues.
• Keeps assigned work area neat and orderly, including the podium.
• Periodically checks dealer procedures, floor procedures, seating controllers and chip runners to ensure that they are performing their duties/responsibilities as required
• Assists with and oversee all tournament play.
• Resolves all customer disputes that cannot be resolved at a lower level.
• Communicates all pertinent information to the Poker Room Manager.
• Is responsible for closing out the Poker Bank at the end of the night; reconciling all paperwork.
• All other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this position

• High School Diploma preferred.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience working in poker room operations preferred.
• Must be able to obtain the appropriate state occupational license.
• Must be familiar with all poker room concepts, practices and procedures.
• Relies on experience and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holiday as needed.
• Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.
• Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.
