General DescriptionThis position requires the performance of a wide range of general law enforcement duties, including the prevention, detection and investigation of criminal acts, apprehension and arrest of law violators, and the safeguarding of lives and property. Qualifications
High school diploma or recognized equivalent certification is required. Certification from the Police Standards and Training Commission is required. Successful completion of the Field Training Program is required. Successful completion and maintenance of proficiency with firearms. Must possess a valid State of Florida driver's license.
