Job description
The City of Cedar Hill is now accepting applications for the position of Police Officer! TCOLE certification is not required to apply though preference may be given to candidates with a current TCOLE license. TCOLE-certified candidates with two (2) or more years of sworn police experience are eligible for a $10,000 hiring incentive and candidates with less than two (2) years of sworn police experience are eligible for a $5,000 hiring incentive. Restrictions apply.
Salary Structure
- Non-Certified Starting Salary $70,000/year
- Certified/Experienced Salary Range $75,500 - $94,960/year
- Lateral appointments begin at up to $84,976/year, based on experience and are not required are not required to complete the entrance exam or row test!
- Incentive pay up to $2,400/year for education and certifications held and up to $2,400/year for specialized position pay!
