The HMC SLEEP CENTER has an outstanding opportunity to for a POLYSOMNOGRAPHIC TECHNICIAN 2. Under general supervision of the Manager and Assistant Manager, the Polysomnographic Technician 2 contributes to the day to day operations of the HMC Sleep Center.

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of an AMA-approved school of respiratory care, electroencephalogram diagnostics or polysomnography

AND

Two years of experience conducting sleep studies in a patient care setting
AND

Certified in CPR

OR

Equivalent education/experience.

DESIRED

  • Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or other nationally recognized sleep credential.
  • Current certification in BLS.
  • Registered with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).
  • Maintains current Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential.
  • Evidence of ability to conduct a wide range of sleep studies without direct supervision.
  • Possess a Washington State driver’s license and the ability to legally drive.
  • Experience with using a variety of HSAT Equipment.
  • Experience in patient training or education.
  • Medical or science background.
  • Competency in conducting and scoring sleep studies.
