Community Care Partnership of Maine (CCPM) is looking for our first ever Population Health Data Analyst! In this role, you’ll serve our mission in the background by providing guidance based data analysis and interpretation to drive better clinical outcomes and improve operational efficiencies. We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience), who is skilled in Microsoft Excel functions and able to analyze complex data and translate opportunities into actionable tactics. (NOTE: option of working primarily remotely after the training period, with expectation to attend in-office meetings and engage in in-person work [based on project needs/deadlines] in BANGOR, MAINE as needed)

By working together, CCPM member organizations coordinate and deliver high quality, cost-effective, patient-centered care. Together, CCPM works to improve access to care, improve clinical outcomes, reduce costs, and improve patient experience.

Highlights of the position:

  • Provides excellent customer service by demonstrating professionalism, collaboration, awareness, and a keen eye for the details.
  • Develops clinical data reporting, including design, documentation and implementation, ensuring data integrity and accuracy of work.
  • Performs analysis, including diagnostic analytics to dig deeper to arrive at the source of a problem or need. Proactively anticipates needs whenever possible.
  • Collaborates to prepare, maintain, and deliver:
    • ACO’s payer attribution dashboard
    • ACO’s master provider roster
    • Self-Service Data Center
    • Performance packages related to clinical and operational ACO objectives
    • And more
  • Plays a key role in the development and maintenance of payer contract performance scorecards and performance improvement tools.
  • Collaborates with all teams to identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data sets.
  • Strategizes with CCPM and ACO member organizations to improve data and quality experiences.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3 years of experience that is related to the duties and responsibilities as specified, or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with pivot tables, pivot charts, slicers, graphs, Power Query, Power Pivot, etc. required.
  • Prior healthcare analytics experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI and/or Tableau strongly preferred.
