Phoenix Center for Rehabilitation & Pediatrics is a skilled nursing facility located in Haskell, NJ. We are currently looking for reliable Porters to join our team.

Responsibilities as a Porter:
- Remove miscellaneous debris and remove trash
- Clean floors by washing, vacuuming and polishing floors
- Keep supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies
- Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with security regulations
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Enhance housekeeping reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Requirements for a Porter:

- Must be able to work 7am-3pm shift OR 3pm-11pm shift
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year of related experience
- Physical demands: regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel and bend, lift and carry
- Must be able to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaner, wet vac, and carpet machine
- Knowledge of stripping and waxing floors a plus
