NIH-Funded Postdoctoral Position Available in the Perissi Lab at Boston University for Investigating Mechanisms of Nuclear-Mitochondria Communication

The Perissi Lab at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to study the molecular basis of mitochondrial-nuclear communication. The project will focus on the spatial regulation of mitochondria retrograde signaling and the crosstalk between ubiquitination and ADP-ribosylation in the adaptive response to mitochondrial stress.

The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in molecular biology or related field, a strong publication record including first-author publications in peer reviewed journals, excellent communication and analytical abilities, ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment, and enthusiasm for basic science research.

Candidates with expertise in mitochondria biology or epigenetics will be preferred.
