You will be working with Omnivise Asset Management System OAM, Siemens Energy’s proprietary modular software suite to support to support all power plant core processes and domains. The emphasis in this job will be on the OAM Reliability Management application which offers a toolbox to develop optimized maintenance strategies based on Reliability Centered Maintenance principles to our customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Preparation of proposals for the Omnivise Asset Management system:
- Analyzing customer specifications
- Conceptual engineering of the Omnivise Asset Management system and evaluation of efforts for order execution
- Presentation of the Omnivise Asset Management system to potential customers
Technical project execution of Omnivise Asset Management projects, including:
- Evaluation of contract and project boundary conditions
- Setup of project execution schedule
- Participation in customer workshops and solution consulting on topics such as Omnivise Asset Management functionality, asset criticality analysis and asset hierarchy
- System implementation in accordance to ISO 55001 standard (MTA, RCM, Failure modes, indicators) and adaptation of Siemens Energy‘s asset template library to customer specifications
- Analyze existing plant maintenance strategy (e.g., customer check sheets, collection intervals)
- Adaptation of statistical asset models to existing customer environment
- Training of statistical asset models by selecting appropriate training periods of historical data
- Check existing documentation (e.g., P & IDs, DCS catalogues) and map to existing asset model templates
- Engineering of data acquisition of online indicators from customer DCS or historians
- Configuration of asset performance management calculations
- Asset Health Index definition and implementation
- Definition check sheets for operator rounds
- Customer Training
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, e.g. mechanical or electrical
- Experience in maintenance activities in power plants or oil and gas facilities
- (3-4 years on site in operation and maintenance or commissioning)
- Basic knowledge in maintenance strategy development and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Basic knowledge of Machine Learning and Data Mining, mathematical algorithms for diagnosis and optimization
- Basic knowledge of Distributed Controls Systems (DCS) and data historians
- Basic knowledge of IT systems (CMMS or similar, MS Office)
- Basic knowledge of network components and protocols
- Basic software engineering skills desirable (Programming, SQL-Query, GIT)
- Experience in working with international teams
- Basic project management skills (coordination)
- Troubleshooting skills
- Fluent English required
- Willingness to travel (10-20%)
