Description of role:
The IndyCare Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations of our Kannapolis location and reports directly to the business owners. IndyCare is an innovative health hub practice model that is hyper-focused on delivering an unmatched customer experience.
As the practice manager you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the overall success of the practice in our community.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, personable leader and a dynamic individual that can function as the face of our business in the community, retain and develop new partnerships with local employers and design and implement new services.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all patients consistently have an exceptional customer experience at IndyCare.
- Working with owners, medical providers and staff to continually improve processes by developing and implementing new strategies, services and programs.
- Communicating with all team members to ensure they have necessary support to function optimally in their role.
- Overall revenue cycle management of the practice working with our billing vendors and contractors.
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure effective scheduling, billing procedures, occupational health and safety issues and ensuring excellence in patient care and service.
- Updates and configurations of our EHR (Athena) to ensure it is adapted to the practice needs.
- Oversight and coordination with our technology partners to optimize the use of health technology tools at the practice.
- Inventory management and oversight, including vendor accounts for medical and office supplies.
- HR duties, recruitment of qualified candidates, new hire onboarding and training and payroll management.
- Setting goals and conducting annual employee performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Assisting in recruiting highly qualified candidates
- Driving day-to-day business results through proper coaching, development and training of the clinic team using company programs, tools, and resources and by offering support daily.
- Setting up necessary staff meetings and monthly employee training.
- Interacting with patients to gain customer feedback and using feedback to improve overall customer service.
- Managing marketing agency and marketing vendors to provide to ensure success of overall marketing spend. Working with the marketing team to develop quarterly and annual events to promote practice
- Other duties as assigned by the Managing Partner responsible for the practice
Skills and Requirements:
Minimum of five years of management experience in the medical field is required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are needed in order to manage multiple tasks, people, and projects. Must be very comfortable with using healthcare technology. Ability to react appropriately and professionally under pressure using good judgment in difficult situations. Intermediate expertise in MS Office and working knowledge of basic IT systems. Demonstrated experience in developing and motivating talent. Highly motivated and results driven as well as being flexible and adaptable to change.

- Urgent Care or Retail Health Clinic experience
- Ability to learn and work with new digital health technology
Work Schedule:
Full time, 40hrs per week. Occasional Saturday shift to oversee operations on that day and can swap out for a weekday shift that week.

Base salary plus significant bonus and profit sharing opportunity tied to KPI and profitability targets.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
We currently treat all patients with COVID-19 symptoms or exposure through our Curbside Health service. We see all other patient visits inside the clinic. We also offer Telemedicine visits for our patients.
