The Precision AG Engineering Controller will be responsible to provide finance and controlling support to the Global EFG/ Precision AG Engineering group. The role will work closely with the NPI Engineering Finance group and the EFG Engineering organization, as well as Purchasing and Manufacturing, to define savings, and cost reductions opportunities. Additionally, the role will work closely with Product Management and will be required to translate "new product or service ideas" into a business model evaluation. The role is global in scope and will report to the Global PA&D Finance Lead. Close cooperation and frequent interaction with other senior leaders will be required.


What You Will Do:

  • Prioritize global AGCO Precision AG Engineering Spend (roughly 50-60 mUSD annually)
  • Drive cross-site optimization and budget allocation.
  • Cost out initiative tracking and reporting.
  • Create transparency on AGCO Precision AG Engineering Spend (both, NPI related and stand-alone)
  • Strategic project target setting for CAPEX, OPEX, and Price and Product costs for EFG.
  • Project controlling and tracking for EFG project and alignment of annual budget with project roadmap
  • Conduct monthly review with EFG Engineering Lead
  • Contribute to business case and financial project control for key growth areas.
  • Engineering Operating Expense (OPEX) control
  • Provide guidance on correct OPEX/CAPEX treatment in line with US GAAP requirements.
    • Develop methodology to evaluate agile software development methods financially.
    • Develop value capture framework for precision ag technologies to properly assess benefits and support prioritization decisions.


What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Engineering with work experience in Finance and Controlling
  • 5-7 years business experience required.
  • Background in financial appraisal and costing techniques as well as an understanding in AGCO’s product portfolio
  • Understanding of cost reduction process and methodology.
  • Understanding of product development process and projects.


A Plus If You Have:

  • Masters or MBA preferred.
  • Certified Management Accountant a plus


Travel Required:

Less than 30%
