ABOUT THE JOB

Everything food related we do starts here! Our Prep Cooks receive fresh produce and proteins daily and are responsible for following standards for food safety, food production, and cleanliness of the kitchen. Your daily responsibilities consist of washing and cutting produce, preparing cold sides, making homemade sauces, and marinating proteins. It is your duty to set the kitchen up for success each day by ensuring enough product is allocated to sustain the shift and that all food is prepared according to BBQ Boutique recipes.

THE BASICS

?Follow BBQ Boutique recipes and processes ensuring quality and consistency

?Work in a fast paced environment with state of the art kitchen equipment

?Follow all food safety practices and procedures

?Mise en place

?Marinate proteins, prepare cold sides, and make homemade sauces

?Put away and wash fresh produce

?Set up and clean your station to set yourself and other team members up for success

PRE-REQUISITES

?18 years of age or older

?Some culinary experience

?Ability to read and follow written recipes

?Willingness to learn and grow

?Be coachable and able to work both independently and with a team

?Reliable transportation to and from work

?Be engaging, friendly, and respectful

?Be able to lift at least 20 pounds regularly and reach, squat, and bend

?Be able to tolerate potential food allergens
