Atlas Staffing is hiring a Brake Press Operator for our reputable client in the manufacturing industry. This is a full time, temp to hire position in Spokane Valley, with plenty of opportunity for advancement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of press brake operations, including setups using sheet metal and metal plates into finished product.
- Perform set up of machines.
- Loading and unloading, emptying of scrap material.
- Use a variety of measuring instruments to check and confirm dimensions.
- Responsible for following all safety procedures.
- Responsible for meeting productivity requirements.
- Inspecting and evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Basic math skills
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- At least 1yr of previous brake press experience is preferred
Wage: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
