Team & Role:

The Liquidity Management Solutions team has responsibility for development and execution of Treasury Services’ proposition to help clients manage their cash and liquidity through sophisticated solutions, drive revenue and market share and position BNY Mellon Treasury Services as a leading provider of on-balance sheet liquidity management solutions.

This role is focused on managing Liquidity Management Solutions’ offerings on virtual accounts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management of Liquidity Management Solutions (LMS) Virtual Account offerings – including delivering the product roadmap, product governance and approvals, technology development, operational readiness, implementation, and go-to market strategy.
  • Act as the subject-matter-expert and key liaison with sales, relationship management, proposals and business development teams to win new business, retain existing business and drive revenue. Provide product leadership in structuring solutions for clients using the virtual accounts and other LMS offerings available.
  • Provide product leadership for day-to-day management, product maintenance and issue resolution with – technology, operations, client services, marketing, risk and other stakeholders.
  • Staying in touch with latest developments in Virtual accounts, payment services and related areas - and ensuring BNY Mellon Treasury Services’ offerings continue to be market leading.
  • Use data and analytical tools for key product decisions and recommendations.
  • Ensure all control measures are in place and maintained in order to meet Risk, Compliance and Audit standards as per policy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent. MBA preferred
  • Professional qualifications - CTP or Cert ICM preferred
  • 10-12 years of total experience. Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate banking/transaction banking/treasury services
  • Product management experience must - preferably in Liquidity management and/or virtual accounts
  • Experience in developing and launching new products must
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, organizational, communication, presentation, time management, and collaborative skills
  • Driven, execution oriented and entrepreneurial mind set. Self-starter with ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to self-direct work, multi-task, meet deadlines, take initiative, and produce consistent high-quality work.
  • Strong leadership skills, demonstrating experience of operating successfully within larger cross-functional organizations

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $98,000 and $212,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
