The Role
You are responsible for coordinating the design and delivery of sophisticated solutions across multiple squads in the Health Care Group (HCG) as well as other business units. You will work closely with product and technology partners to analyze different end-to-end use cases to ensure that key functionality does not fall through gaps between squads. When problems are identified you lead the effort to outline viable options, pros and cons and communicate with partners to determine the solution and then drive that solution to conclusion. You advocate for solutions that advance Fidelity’s technology roadmap and deliver the highest value to HSA participants.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- 8-10 years of IT experience
- 2-3 years of experience working in an Agile development environment (scaled agile is a plus)
- Experience driving multi-squad, cross-BU solutions
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Demonstrated expertise in working closely with business and technology partners to formulate solutions and turn these solutions into practical next steps
- Solid communication and negotiation skills
- Experience in successfully leading and managing in multi-team environment
- A good sense of ownership and accountability for assigned business-critical initiatives
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- Strong competency in agile tools (Jira, Jira Align) and collaborative diagraming tools (for example Mural)
- A passion for execution and driving deliverables with a sense of urgency
- An ability to solve complex, multi-dimensional business problems
- An ability to inspire change in a creative and collaborative manner with business partners and technical partners, including offshore development teams
- A willingness and ability to work in a hands-on manner and get into the details
- Flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing business and technical environment
- Work with Product Area and Squad Leaders, Chapter Leaders, Architects and other partners to help ensure that strategy and execution are aligned
- Facilitate cross-team events and their readiness, for example quarterly planning and scrum of scrums
- Help manage risks and dependencies, advance and track impediments
- Assist with feature and capability sizing and estimation by teams and the roll-up to Initiatives & Sub-Initiatives
- Interpret business problems and work closely across teams to translate them into technical solutions
- Lead collaborative sessions to define creative solutions to solve complex technical problems
- Provide technology alternatives to business problems and clearly explain the advantages, disadvantages and side-effects of each alternative
- Find opportunities to bring emerging technologies/solutions to deliver innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
- Leverage an in-depth understanding of the business to propose and deliver solutions to increase client satisfaction around their health care expense management experience
- Maintain an atmosphere of collaboration, openness and approachability every day

The Team
As an end-to-end systems analyst in the Health Savings Account Platform Technology chapter, you will play a significant role in designing and implementing solutions that cross multiple squads and business units for strategic initiatives in the Health and Benefits Accounts Domain. Fidelity has been aggressively growing it’s HSA and reimbursement account market share and this position will play a key role in helping to continue that trajectory and achieve a leading market position.
