PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Unity Health and Rehabilitation, a Skilled Nursing facility seeking an experienced and motivated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.
Summary of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):
Provides quality rehabilitation care to residents under the direct supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist as outlined in the plan of care in accordance with laws, regulations, and Facility guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):
- Implement and execute established patient treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
- Communicate with patience, families, referring physicians, and other members of the team.
- Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements.
- Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional association.
- Provide timely written documentation as required.
- Support and participate in department operations and development.
- Coordinate treatment goals with other team members.
Job Requirements of Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA):
- Current Florida COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant) License
- Current CPR
- Nursing Home experience preferred but not necessary
- Must have an Associate degree in Occupational Therapy
