Hours: On Call (as needed)
Schedule: Variable hours and days; must be available to work 3-4 days per month on a rotating basis.

Job Summary:
Shriners Hospitals for Children – Portland is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a part-time position to join our team! This position performs radiological procedures and provides accurate diagnostic data to staff physicians for the medical evaluation of patients. This position is responsible for radiology in both an outpatient clinic and a surgery setting.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
  • Current Oregon Board of Medical Imaging license
  • Current registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Minimum of one year of post-graduate Radiology Tech experience, preferably with a pediatrics focus in a hospital setting
  • Strong knowledge of procedures/ positions for orthopedic examinations
  • Ability to adapt quickly and positively to pediatric patients with special needs
  • Strong knowledge and competence in working with C-Arm fluoroscopy and portable radiography in a surgical environment
