Required Experience:
- Must have 3+ years of experience in a fluid process industry; chemical, water waste water, food/dairy, etc.
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering, other education and experience will be considered
- Must have 3+ years of PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley PLC5, SLC, Logix; other platforms a plus)
- HMI design experience (Wonderware, FactoryTalk View; other platforms a plus)
- Knowledge of common industrial networks (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, ControlNet)
- Low-voltage electrical design & layout (UL 508A panel design knowledge a plus)
- Ability to read Process & Instrumentation drawings (P&IDs)
- Strong electrical & mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Knowledge or adaptability to the Fluid Process Industry
- Ability to travel up to 20% for project start-up, 4 days up to 2 weeks typical depending on size of job. Usually pre-planned and all expenses paid with a Per-Diem. Most of the travel is within a 3 hour radius.
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to travel throughout the US for project startups as needed
- Must be willing and able to work holidays, weekends or extended hours as needed for shutdowns
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
