Job description

Position Overview: The Process Engineer manages process design, operational data analysis, and process improvement, and works closely with cross functional teams, business partners, stakeholders, and customers to continually identify and improve solutions.


Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in software design and creation of process flow
  • Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures
  • Assemble data and process flow reports to document process status and changes
  • Work with Product Owners and UX Designer teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of initiatives
  • Troubleshoot issues with systems and applications, and resolve issues in a timely fashion
  • Review business needs, refine priorities, outline milestones and deliverables, and identify opportunities and risks on a continuous basis
  • Stay informed of new and emerging processes
  • Conduct data analysis to help enable business decisions
  • Communicate findings and proposals clearly and accurately to team members as well as senior leaders
  • Ensure adherence to corporate standards
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence by identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate
  • Conduct all business in a highly ethical manner, exhibiting behavior, practices, and standards that uphold IMC core values
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Qualifying work experience in engineering, software design, process flow, or similar field preferred (A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirement.)
  • College degree in systems engineering, industrial engineering, or similar field, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Innovative thinking with the ability to create, deliver, and communicate technical content simply and effectively
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Great attention to detail, processes, and procedures
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change
  • Ability to drive results through curiosity and collaboration
  • Ability to show professionalism
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to learn


Other Skills / Abilities

  • Able to integrate and utilize IT improvements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Power BI or SQL experience a plus
  • Experience in an Agile environment
  • Travel as required, less than 10%
