Process QA Technician- Defense Sector

Under the direction of Quality Assurance Manager and working in conjunction with operations and process improvement groups, you will conduct problem solving investigations and be an active contributor to problem solving activities. You will assist in process improvement and change activities to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness. In addition, you will be called upon to help determine the adequacy of training as well as help identify, support, and perform training activities.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Solve part and process problems using basic problem-solving skills

• Determine process capability and work with engineering to improve

• Determine effectiveness of training, support and perform training activities

• Implement and support APQP tools and initiatives

• Identify areas for improvement and work with cross functional team to develop and execute improvement opportunities

• Support quality/engineering by identifying problems, investigating contributing factors and participating in solving problems

Minimum Qualifications:

• A two-year associate degree in an engineering, science or technical discipline and 3 years’ experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent and 7 years’ experience
