- Stops injection molding machine, performs daily tool PM in rotation to clean.
- Restarts injection molding machine.
- Ensures that parts are conforming after restart.
- Read and understands operator instructions. (e. g. operating machines, quality)
- Use of inspection tools. (e. g. micrometer)
- Handling of raw material.
- Communicates with supervisor to aid in increase of production and quality.
- Maintain the department/ work area clean and organized.
- Follows ISO/IATF, safety, and environmental procedures as well as department and corporate policies and procedures.
- Stops production if quality is not to standard.
- 1 -2 years minimum
- Ability to quickly and repeatedly clean tools and restart machine.
- Ability to comprehend simple, sometimes detailed, oral and written instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiple, and divide.
- Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed and uninvolved oral instructions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Training provided.
- Hand tools, various wrenches and maintenance tools for installing dies.
- Production equipment as supplied.
- Steel toed shoes and safety glasses are required at all times.
