Users can also find inspiration from stylists, tastemakers and peers. We are seeking a seasoned, well-rounded Product Manager with experience working in a startup environment to help us define and operationalize a path forward on key initiatives that will improve the shopping experience in a meaningful way for our users. In this position, you will play an important role in shaping the foundation of our core shopping platform.

This will be a full time or contract position, and seniority level is flexible depending on experience.

What you will do

• Cross-functional collaboration and leadership: Deliver outcomes through a strong partnership with UX design, engineering, data science, editorial, and marketing. Lead by influence; keep the team moving forward.

• Roadmap management and execution: Contribute to high-level product vision and tactical execution of features. Prioritize and select product enhancements using a consistent, objective process. Evaluate trade offs between new feature development, bug fixing, and maintenance of existing features. Define and manage product release strategies for new features.

• Requirements Development: Document, discuss, and socialize detailed product requirements and user stories and participate in the grooming and prioritization process with stakeholders.

• Manage expectations: Understand when initiatives are at risk and proactively communicate with stakeholders accordingly. Help us innovate and take thoughtful risks to get things done better and faster.

• Competitive & User Insights: Collect and analyze competitive intelligence and market developments to guide development efforts. Use data to understand user behavior and inform problem space.

Required Experience/Skills

• 4+ years product management experience, preferably building and delivering engaging consumer product experiences online
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Comfortable in creating structure out of ambiguous problems and works well with others to support shared goals with minimal supervision
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage priorities
• Ability to measure product health and use data to inform prioritization decisions, to ensure product quality, and meet defined goals and success metrics
• Familiarity with recommender systems and machine learning principles
• Experience working with a globally distributed, all-remote workforce
• Entrepreneurial drive and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals
