Hybrid Role at the Houston Office location Tuesday through Thursday, non-negotiable!

Key Responsibilities:

Owns key functional areas within our product space and is responsible for leading discovery and design sessions for the upcoming features with the business, defining user stories and ensuring the timely delivery of a quality product.

  • Provides guidance, coaching and training to other product owner team members.
  • Builds EPICS and Product roadmap, ensures accomplishment planned objectives, and prioritizes backlog items to best achieve product goals.
  • Executes the product roadmap by owning the feature set adjusting the priority to account for technical and business needs
  • Interacts with Software Engineers and Architects
  • Effectively navigate conflict between multiple business constituents and appropriately balances risk with business value
  • Acts as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders with the ability to manage expectations for major initiatives
  • Performs impact analysis on non-functional and reporting needs for new features
  • Maintains an open and constant communication amongst the team, management, and customers regarding project status and sprint outcomes
  • Provides transparency into development plans and upcoming releases to business stakeholders
  • Drives the product vision by actively influencing business initiatives with domain knowledge and experience

Required:

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Product owner / manager (POPM) role
  • AGILE experience
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills
  • Energy and Oil and Gas experience

· Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker who can quickly adjust priorities

· Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Detail-oriented and willing to 'roll up their sleeves' to find the underlying cause of an issue

Preferred:

· 1-2 years of experience in Oil & Gas (OCTG - Oil Country Tubular Goods)

· 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain Management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $113,774.09 - $121,884.90 per year
