Product Manager
Full-Time, Exempt Status
OUR opportunity:
The Product Manager is responsible for fiber optic products management and planning, market development. This position entails ensuring the company's profit and market strategy for the product range developed at our Tualatin facility.
We're looking for a responsible, articulate, and motivated Product Manager who can define and promote our product offer in a manner that is easy to understand to our customer base. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a roadmap that meets the needs of our clients and our products in a timely manner.
A DAY in the life of a Product Manager:
- Know products' performance and industry trends
- Collect market intelligence, analyze product's advantage and disadvantage, opportunity and risk
- Manage product:(product type, packaging, category, performance, service, sales support, new design, market strategy and forecast, product lifecycle)
- Make product improvement plan:(new product, new technology, cost reduction, improvement solution ) and Build a product evolution roadmap
- Organize marketing activities: (content for product launches, catalogues, databases, website, advertisement, and exhibitions)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customers, sales, engineering and suppliers.
WHAT you have:
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 5+ Years of relevant work experience
- To comply with ITAR, must be US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident
