Position Overview
Sentinel Fertigation is a dynamic and innovative company committed to providing next generation precision fertigation management solutions that enhance farmer profitability and empower sustainable crop production. Our core product is N-Time™, a web-based software platform that provides image-based fertigation scheduling and other digital fertigation management tools. As a Product Support Specialist at Sentinel Fertigation you will bridge the Implementation and Development teams. It will be your responsibility to help our users solve technical problems and translate temporary solutions to those problems into long-term solutions to be integrated into N-Time™. Creativity, critical thinking, and passion for user success will be critical to success in this position. In this position, you will be given ownership over the development of our support processes, thereby helping shape the way we serve our customers. Responsibilities

• Own and manage Sentinel Fertigation’s support process from issue notification through initiation of long-term solution development.
• Provide educational and manual solution support to N-Time™ users including farmers and certified service providers (CSPs).
• Manage Sentinel Fertigation’s support backlog to appropriately prioritize solution tasks and delegate as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of support resources including documentation, tutorial videos, and FAQs.
• Interface with Implement and Development teams regularly to understand customer challenges and development limitations to devise proactive support activities.
• Identify recurring issues and provide guidance on priority issues for long-term solution development.
• Devise and propose long-term solutions and feature enhancements to address recurring user challenges.
• Participate in CSP education and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with agriculture data in different formats from a variety of equipment systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team and excel in an organized support process.
• Strong forensic, diagnostic, and deductive skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including patience and active listening.
• Familiarity with precision agriculture hardware and software systems
• Command of production ag jargon and working knowledge of farming practices and machinery
• Strong computational geospatial information system (GIS) skills including proficiency in QGIS.
• Experience developing scripts in one or more coding languages (e.g. Python, JavaScript) is preferred.
• Familiarity with software system infrastructure, organization, and development is preferred.
• Strong verbal communication, written communication, critical thinking, and problem- solving skills
• Awareness of precision agriculture concepts and imagery use in agriculture (grid sampling, management zones, variable rate input prescriptions, informed crop scouting)
• Diligence in learning and leveraging team and project management software (Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, Confluence, Jira, etc.)

Compensation, Benefits, and Schedule

• Salary: $80,000
• Start Date: February 2023 or earlier
• Location: Lincoln, NE (preferred) or remote

Founded in 2021, Sentinel Fertigation is a Lincoln, NE, ag tech startup revolutionizing fertigation management. Through the N-Time™ Fertigation Management System (N-Time™ FMS) platform. Sentinel turns images of the crop canopy into fertigation recommendations that increase nitrogen fertilizer use efficiency.
