Job description
A Vita Plus Lake Mills production associate is responsible for the various processes involved in the manufacturing of dairy and livestock feed. This is a full-time position on the second shift (5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Sunday through Thursday).
What you’ll do:
- Receive and inspect ingredients
- Keep accurate records to ensure quality products and compliance with the rules that govern our business
- Manufacture bagged and bulk feed products
- Operate the pelleting system
- Load bagged and bulk products on trailers to serve internal and external Vita Plus customers
- Maintain inventory accuracy
- Interact with fellow employee owners and customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Live out our Values of safety, quality, teamwork, communication, commitment, attitude and performance
What you need:
- Basic math and English reading skills
- Forklift certification
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
