Job description

This position provides day-to-day support to Production Scheduler. This position will work closely with purchasing to coordinate raw material purchasing in a timely manner for production. Schedule outside vendor work for manufactured parts such as finishing or other postproduction processes. Review engineering drawings for required parts and or outside work to be done. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to ensure projects are moving through production in a timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day activity for outside vendors for manufactured parts
• Track progress with outside vendors and follow up
• Timely order placing to ensure timeline adherence
• Strong attention to detail to communicate requirements to vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School Graduate. Associates Degree preferred
• Minimum of 3-5 years of manufacturing scheduling and or purchasing experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings for required vendor work
• Excellent Phone and Communication skills
• Excellent Organization Skills
• Solid Computer Skills, Microsoft Office knowledge, Infor ERP system
• Must be detail oriented

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
