Job Summary
The Production Lead works in the production area and assists the Production Manager/Supervisor to ensure that documentation, specifications, scheduling, and components are correct and complete. They also help resolve employee conflicts and other issues as they arise.
Job Duties
Supervise production lines
- Verify correct product, components, MPR’s, specifications
- Request, fill out and complete MPR’s
- Ensure Data Ninja accuracy by regularly checking Operator and Packer III consumptions
- Sign off Data Ninja orders after checking for consumption and reported finished good accuracy
- Sign off Production Start ups and Quality checks in Redzone
- Verify all production paperwork
- Help resolve personnel issues
- Attend required meetings, including: Production, Scheduling and Management
- Help with scheduling
- Log production employee’s attendance and performance
- Communicate with batching, maintenance, warehouse and QA relating to work issues
- Replenish and put away products and components to/from the production lines
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager/Supervisor
- Willing to learn to troubleshoot/run the HMC machines
Required Skills
Must be competent and able to learn computer systems and processes
- Able to Read, Write and Understand the English Language
- Follow GMP standards and guidelines
- Understand and apply information set forth in SOP’s
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to handle production issues and make rational decisions
- Forklift driving
Experience and Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of related experience
Physical Demands
- Frequently involves sedentary work:
- Exerting up to 30 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects occasionally
- Walking
- Manual Dexterity
- Talking
- Hearing
- Repetitive motions
Work Environment
This position involves exposure to manufacturing areas were the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection may be required.
