POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the VP Fresh, the Production Replenishment Manager will oversee the initial set-up, roll out, and ongoing management of the program for the fresh departments. Communicating with Merchants, Operations, Marketing, and Warehousing is key to the success in this role. Growing sales through improved in-stock conditions, reducing shrink, and accurate recipe input will drive success by having the right amount of product at the right time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead the data set-up and testing for all Fresh Departments into the Upshop Program;
- Develop and manage the training materials for the initial roll-out and ongoing training programs as well as training schedule;
- Maintains ongoing communications with users and Vendors for feedback to analyze and identify continuous improvement initiatives;
- Utilize the user scorecard to communicate, train and drive program execution;
- Responsible for creating and using replenishment processes and tools to optimize orders to achieve inventory goals in line with company’s objectives;
- Complete data and trend analysis to identify actionable insights to improve sales, reduce shrink, verify recipe accuracy, and maintain proper inventory valuations;
- Interacts cross-functionally with Merchandisers, Operations, and IT to maintain integrity of Upshop system;
- Manage replenishment processes by collaborating with Category Managers to ensure accurate store merchandising presentations;
- Performs other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience, preferred;
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in retail supermarket merchandising/purchasing;
- Understanding of store operations and merchandising methodologies and practices.;
- Ability to integrate with local management, be part of a team, and drive business results;
- Ability to be persuasive and relentless in reinforcing the best interests of the company;
- Effective communicator, particularly when it comes to discussing Human Resources/Compliance matters with management or regular employees;
- Must have a great deal of integrity;
- Ability to work well under pressure and multitask;
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred.

Pay Scale $80,000 to $90,000
