About the Production Supervisor role:
Reporting to the Production Manager II, this role will be responsible for supervision of the daily manufacturing operations performed over second shift's production line, ensuring volume, quality, safety, and cost goals are met.
This is a full-time, onsite position Monday through Friday, supervising second shift which begins at 3 PM and ends at 11 PM.

Provides hiring, promotion, and disciplinary action recommendations as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports

Coordinates and directs the activities of the Production Department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality

Ensures all safety procedures are followed and metrics are met

Investigates, troubleshoots, and provides solutions to production problems

Provides direct supervision and training for production workers

Aids in planning, prioritizing, and managing production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules

Inspects product to verify production specifications are met
Qualifications:

Associate's degree or equivalent related experience; Bachelor's degree a plus

3+ years of proven supervisory or management experience in Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, or Production

Green Belt Certified preferred; Must be acquired within 3 years

Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma preferred
