Position Summary

Primarily responsible for supporting automatic and semi-automatic filling/packaging of pre-filled chemicals and assembly of kits. Will perform a variety of duties related to packing, inspecting, handling, labeling, and palletizing finished product. Will also perform a variety of tasks that require physical labor including the loading and unloading of goods.
Work schedule: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Move materials to and from warehouse, production area and stock locations
• Assemble products and kits as required
• Assist in the set-up of filling/packaging machines for product packaging
• Assemble boxes and affix labels as required
• Ensure quality and conformity of filled product to standard.
• Perform basic Quality Inspection check on work in process
• Pull finished goods from stock as required for customer order and pack on a pallet
• Advise Production Workers and Supervisors of material and equipment concerns
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Interface with office personnel regarding inventories and warehouse activities
• Stage finished product for loading and load finished product onto truck
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in the warehouse
• Clean and maintain work area
• Prepare packaging, label, or relabel product, and assemble kits as instructed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills
· English speaking, reading, and writing, strongly preferred

· Basic arithmetic skills, required

· Dexterity to perform repetitive packaging and/or assembly operations

Education
· High School Diploma or GED required

· Experience in Production/Manufacturing environment is preferred

Requirements
· Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds

· Work requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, gloves, hearing protectors, and lab coats

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
