Leidos is seeking talented Production Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics Technical Solutions provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.
The Production Technician will be able be to capable of reading engineering drawings, CAD models and following work instructions to produce complex assemblies. Ideal candidate should have experience in setup and operation of a variety of machine tools including Water Jet, Industrial sewing machines and Wire EDM’s. Experience in the manufacturing of large aerospace components from exotic materials, is a plus. The Production Technician must also perform other tasks to aid in the increased efficiency of manufacturing. Attention to detail is key to the success of assembling / Manufacturing good-quality product. Experience in the manufacturing of large components for aerospace application is a plus. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods is a plus. The candidate must be adaptive and willing to change tasks based on production needs.
Work hours are 6:00 am – 4:30 pm Monday – Thursday (4/10 plan)
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED with (3) years of manufacturing experience OR Associate degree with (2) years of manufacturing experience OR Bachelor degree with (1) year of manufacturing experience
- Candidate must be able to read and evaluate engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
- Candidate should have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Candidate must be a resident of CoS, CO area or willing to relocate to CoS, Colorado, CO area.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.
Other Qualifications
- Manufacturing experience at an AS9100 certified organization
- Utilizing Mastercam software
- G and M codes
- Strong mechanical abilities
Pay Range:
Pay Range $36,400.00 - $56,000.00 - $75,600.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
