We are looking for a Production Worker - Savannah, GA at the International Paper Savannah Container Box Plant!

Pay Rate:

$19.39 for the initial 120-days; once certified on job, pay rate can go up from $20.09 - $24.48 ($65,000+ average yearly earnings)

Sign on Bonus:

• $500 after 30 days

• $500 after 6 months

Category/Shift:

• Monday-Friday; Saturday and Sunday as necessary

The Job You Will Execute:

• Helping and following the instructions of the machine operator

• Production machine set-up to make quality products

• Keeping work areas to plant standards of tidiness

• Reading and understanding documents such as safety rules, instructions and procedure manuals, and maintaining quality standards

• Utilizing basic math and reading a tape measure

• Successfully communicating with both operators and managers to solve problems and actively partake in reducing waste

• Continuously standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., working in different temperatures, and often twisting and bending

The Skills You Will Possess:

• The ability to work with minimal direct oversight to reach production goals

• The ability to pay close attention to details and quality

• The ability to learn and follow instructions as well as ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.

• The flexibility and readiness to transition to the Converting, Corrugator or Shipping department

• The ability to operate or train to operate a forklift

• The flexibility and readiness to work alternative shifts; weekends and daily overtime as needed.
