PROFESSIONAL DOG TRAINER WANTED!

Wilde Acres, an elite dog training and boarding facility in Glyndon, Maryland, is searching for someone with professional experience to join their growing business as a Full-Time Dog Trainer. This person will be self- motivated, passionate about dogs, and eager to learn.
Wilde Acres is a newly renovated facility stretched across 20 beautiful acres and proudly trains hundreds of dogs per year. Our newest team member will train our Training Retreat guests and will work directly under our founder, Carter Wilde, who has been professionally training dogs since 2005.

This person will be responsible for:

• (will train) Training dogs from start to finish

-this person will have a comprehensive understanding of how to use leash pressure as well as electronic collars

• Interfacing with clients on-site
• Facilitating pickups and deliveries- of dogs and supplies!
• Kennel tech work/cleaning dog kennels
• Client care when needed: feeding dogs, bathing dogs, etc.
• Monitoring play groups

Required Qualifications:

• Professional dog training experience of some kind- priority will be given to applicants who have graduated

a formal program, completed apprenticeships, and/or attended seminars

• Ability to operate independently and have confidence when interacting with clients
• Passionate about working with dogs
• Motivated to learn and advance their training skillset
• Comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow all safety and health protocols
• Must be personable, reliable, and possess a positive attitude

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Rotating schedule will include weekends, holidays rotate.

Pay: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
