As a Program Aide/Driver, you will work in our youth partial care located in Trenton, Mercer County NJ.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 1:00pm-8:00pm (school year); 9:30am-4:30pm (summer)

Responsibilities:

• Drives children/families to intakes, program and other appointments as requested.
• Picks up/drops off program supplies, client materials, etc.
• Provides back-up/assistance with snack preparation.
• Covers phones/front desk as requested.
• Reports client problems/issues to staff.
• Develops positive relationships with staff and clients/participants.
• In emergency situations, assists staff in intervening with clients and transporting clients to YES, Crisis Center.
• Assists in program by:
  • Participating in groups
  • Monitoring hallway, yard or other locations
  • Assisting with recreation
• Maintains any logs or paperwork related to transportation as required by the program.
• Attends staff meetings, agency sponsored educational meetings and supervisory sessions regularly.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years' experience in the provision of services to youth;
• Good driving skills;
• Ability to drive a 15-passenger van;
• Valid Driver's License in good standing.
