Bowhead has an immediate opening in Dahlgren, VA for a Program Analyst position. The role involves working with a team to manage data warehousing, data analysis, system development, training, and customer support.
Responsibilities:The Program Analyst will be responsible for developing data structures and tables, validating data, and creating documentation, as well as generating online query and report specifications, database load specifications, and data validation specifications. They will also need to investigate issues, conduct product analysis, and resolve problems.
Qualifications:- The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills in relational database management systems and data warehousing, proficiency in using Cognos Tool Suite for generating dashboards and reports, and experience in writing and analyzing structured query language (SQL) queries.
- Knowledge and experience in mathematical reasoning, as well as excellent oral and written communication abilities, are also essential for client support, requirements gathering, and validation.
- Knowledge of analytical tools and evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of government accounting (highly desired: DOD Accounting)
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
